Patients and relatives
Why should I participate in the ADDUCE study?
Your participation in the ADDUCE project will help to increase our knowledge about the long‐term safety of methylphenidate. ADDUCE is expected to result in innovative knowledge with respect to the following important adverse effects of methylphenidate:
- long‐term psychiatric outcomes
- long‐term developmental effects including growth
- long‐term effects on sexual development
- long‐term neurological effects
- cardiovascular effects in adults who are either currently taking methylphenidate or who have a history of use in childhood
By participating in the ADDUCE study you will have the opportunity to meet clinicians and researchers from our academic expert teams. Their goal is to optimize treatments and follow up monitoring for children and adolescents with ADHD, to make those treatments more secure. As a participant, you will be informed about the ADDUCE study progress and will have access to updated research and therapeutic issues.
